Silhouette is from a powerful feeling of frustration, anger,
and failure. All of your attempts to stop
what you can bare to see go on, are
somehow turned to aid it’s cause.
Becoming a shadow in the dark, you have
eyes but you can’t see in the darkness as
it leads you to stumble down the path
paved for you.

I watch the silhouette of a blind man
Who cries himselfe to sleep though he cant dream
And when he wakes it's to the sound of laughter and cheer
But the only sound he seems to know is the rhythm of fear

I watch him change his form to slip through night and day
I study his speech and it seems as if he always knows what to say
But he don't know his right right from wrong and what I see I know
That what he'll say and what he'll do
Wont skip a beat from the rhythm of that drum

It's crushed his ears and now for years he's payed a handsome sum
For a chance to speak and the doors open wide for him to be heard
But what comes out ain't from his own mouth
